Painting

FAQs

No not at all. Step by step instructions are given throughout the sessions.

Do I need to be an expreienced painter?

Step by step instructions are given, but you are free to do your own thing. You can even paint something totally different.

Are the sessions step-by-step or can I do my own thing?

I will come with an idea which will have been shared before the event. You are not obliged to stick to the same painting, if you wish to do something different.

What will I paint?

These sessions offer you time out from the norm. Spending time with friends and chatting or time on your own.

How does painting help my wellbeing?

Just yourselves. You can bring your own apron or wear old clothes to the sessions if you wish.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Yes absolutely, I offer sessions to suit all needs, and can provide sessions, at home, community centres, or care homes.

Are the sessions suitable for people with additional needs.

Alcohol is available dependent on venue and is optional for all those attending at their own cost.

Are we allowed to drink in the sessions?

Of course, everyone is welcome. If you let me know when you are making the booking, I will do my upmost to make you feel at ease throughout the session.

I am not very confident and want to attend alone, will these sessions suit?

We went to a couples night for Valentine’s Day. We painted each other and Dawn gave us a step by step guide on how to draw our faces. Dawn is friendly and helpful. We had such a laugh. I recommend her wholeheartedly.

Thank you so much. I thought painting was for other people before i went to your 'Paint and Wellbeing' for me, painting meant decorating!
You make it easy to achieve, and have a giggle while trying out something new. I'm so proud of my first painting, it's just for me and it makes me smile!
